Itinerary
Day 01: Kathmandu Arrival (1345m)
2 hrs Hotel in Kathmandu
Airport representative from Tourist link trek will meet you at the airport and escort you to your hotel. After the check-in is complete, we walk to the company where you will meet manager Hom who will brief you about your journey, preparation, and necessary gear as well as about your guide. You can make the payment of the remaining bill here.
Day 02: Sightseeing in Kathmandu
All day BB Hotel in Kathmandu
After breakfast, you will be driving the private vehicle for sightseeing around the city with a professional tour guide. You will visit Bouddhanath stupa, Pashupatinath temple, Kathmandu durbar square and Patan durbar square all are UNESCO world heritage sites.
Day 03: Drive to Beni (830m) via Pokhara
9 hrs B/L/D Hotel in Beni
Early morning you will drive to the Bus park for Beni with your guide and porter with some supporting crew. It takes around 9 hrs to reach Beni by Bus which is a scenic drive so you can enjoy the spectacular view seen from the bus window. The bus will stop on the way to snack, launch, and washroom. Overnight at Hotel in Beni.
Day 04: Drive to Darbang & Trek to Dharapani 1560m
6 hrs B/L/D Mountain lodge
After having breakfast we take a Jeep to Darbang which takes around 2.5 hours passing through several beautiful villages. We start trekking at Darbanng crossing suspension bridge and ascend uphill for 2 hours. we take to launch and stop overnight at Dharapani which is a unique village. We go for a short walk around the village and talk to locals and observed their livelihood. we drive 2.5 hrs and walk 3 hrs and spend overnight at the mountain lodge.
Day 05: Trek to Muri 1720m
5 hrs B/L/D Mountain lodge
we commence our journey after having breakfast. The trail passes through the village and patches of small terraces which makes the landscape look jeweled. We can see seasonal crops cultivated by a local farmer. we pass through the ridge so we can see birds' eye view towards the horizon which makes you feel rejuvenated. We take launch at Muri and stop there for an overnight stay. Muri is the largest village in this region mostly inhabited by Magar people. We go for walk around the village.
Day 06: Trek to Bagar 2080m
6 hrs B/L/D Mountain lodge
We commence our journey after having breakfast. The trail goes all the way downhill to the mighty Myagdi Khola river and passes upward. We pass through the village called Mahatala by the bank of the river. The walk is very scenic with the company of turquoise green flushing river, Lush green forest, and the towering cliff high above. On the way, we can see a beautiful waterfall across the Naura cliff enough to energize. We walk 6 hours in total and overnight at the mountain lodge.
Day 07: Trek to Dovan Kharka 2520m
7 hrs B/L/D Mountain Lodge
The trail goes uphill through the alleyway following the river. We walk through the lush green forest containing Fir, Pine, Rhododendron, and bamboo. The towering peaks and sparkling rivers rejuvenate you along the way and keep energizing. It takes nearly 7 hrs and overnight at the mountain lodge.
Day 08: Trek to Khola Camp 3445m
6 hrs B/L/D Mountain lodge
We start after having breakfast early in the morning. The trail goes slightly uphill through the lush green forest. we stop for launch halfway at the place called Bhaise Kharka and after we cross the river with a wooden bridge. The scenery keeps changing along the way and trees become slightly sparse. We stop at Khola Camp for an overnight stay and we walk for 6 hrs in total.
Day 09: Trek to Italian Camp
2 hrs B/L/D Mountain Lodge
We start our journey in the morning. We have an easy day today, we only walked for 2 hours. The trail goes gradually uphill crossing the river and the terrain mostly is grassland today. we have stunning view of Mt Dhaulagiri I, Dhaulagiri II and Tsaurabong. we take a rest and walk around. Overnight at Mountain lodge.
Day 10: Rest day Excursion to Dhaulagiri Base Camp 4748m
4 hrs B/L/D Mountain lodge
We have a rest day but not leisure so we do some activities in order to get acclimatized. we go for a hike to Dhaulagiri base camp 4748m and come back to sleep at the same place which enhances the stamina and will adapt you well at altitude. The way to Dhaulagiri base camp is through the glacier which contains crevasses thus it is very wise to do this. The excursion duration will be 5 hrs and overnight at the mountain lodge.
Day 11: Trek to Dhaulagiri Base Camp 4748m
4 hrs B/L/D Mountain Lodge
Early in the morning, we follow the trail to Dhaulagiri Base camp through the alleyway which contains moraine and glacier walk. The walk is tough though you have an amazing view to calm down. we take pack launch on the way. You have a tented camp for sleeping and eating on this day. We walk 4 hrs in total and overnight at the tented camp.
Day 12: Trek to Hidden Valley 5100m via French Pass 5360m
7.5 hrs B/L/D Tented camp
We start after having breakfast following the glacier and moraine path towards french pass 5360m. After a few hours climb, we reach French pass from where we have an outstanding panoramic view of the Himalayas and Hidden valley in distance. We take the pack launch on this day. We descend down to Hidden valley 5100m for an overnight stay. It gets freezing cold at night at hidden valley thus you should put on warm clothes even with your cozy sleepingbag. This day we prepare our food by ourselves but don't worry our kitchen crew is well trained to keep your hunger away. we walk 7.5 hrs and overnight stay in the tented camp.
Day 13: Trek to Yak Kharka 3500m Via Dhampus Pass 5200m
7.5 hrs B/L/D Tented Camp
We start after having breakfast following the glacier and moraine path towards french pass 5360m. Day 14: Trek to Marpha 2700m
4 hrs B/L/D Mountain lodge
We start in the morning after rejuvenating power of breakfast and the sun. Today we have a short and sweet excursion all the way down to Marpha. Marpha is one of the unique settlements located in Kali Gandaki valley famous for Apple, Spinach, and its uniquely built houses where chopped wood is kept on the rooftop for drying and storage. We can see a surreal bird-eye panorama view on the way down to Marpha. Marpha has a variety of cozy inns where you can find your own. We walk 4 hrs and overnight at the mountain lodge.
Day 15: Trek to kalopani
7 hrs B/L/D Mountain lodge
We commence our journey after breakfast. We cross the suspension bridge and after we reach the Tibetan refugee camp where we can see Tibetan people weaving and preparing handicrafts. The trail goes all the way through the bank of river Kaligandaki where we can find the fossil what Hindu regard as the symbol of God Vishnu. We have an amazing view of the gigantic Himalayan mountain and the greenery is praiseworthy. We stop for launch at Kokhethati at the bottom of Mt Dhaulagiri. It takes 7 hours to reach Kalopani and overnight at the mountain lodge.
Day 16: Trek to Tatopani
7 hrs B/L/D Mountain lodge
We start early in the morning after having breakfast. The trail goes downhill mostly though there will be a bit uphill too. we pass through the deepest gorge in the world between Mt Annapurna and Mt Dhaulagiri carved by the river Kaligandaki. The Ruptse waterfall is another notable sight which is also known as the Niagara falls of Nepal. We take launch at Ghasa at Thakali place which is very famous. We stop overnight at Tatopani. After reaching Tatopani we go for a hot bath at the nearby natural hot spring pool which helps you to get rid of sore muscles due to trekking. we walk 7 hours in total and overnight at the mountain lodge.
Day 17: Trek to Sikha
5 hrs B/L/D Mountain Lodge
The trail goes uphill after crossing the suspension bridge on river Kaligandaki. The trail passes through villages and terraces where we can see local people working and doing household. It takes 4 hours to reach Sikha. Sikha village is dominated by Magar people which is very enriched with their authentic culture, custom, and tradition. Overnight at mountain lodge.
Day 18: Trek to Ghorepani
4 hrs B/L/D Mountain Lodge
The trail goes all the way uphill to Ghorepani 2810m following the trail through lush green forest. You can see a beautiful panoramic view of Mt Dhaulagiri and Annapurna. Ghorepani is a small village full of lodges that looks like an alpine resort town. We go to Poonhill 3210m for sunset from where we can see dozens of mountains including Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, Nilgiri, Churen, and Gurja. we walk 6 hours in total and overnight at the mountain lodge.
Day 19: Trek to Nayapul Drive back Pokhara
7 hrs walk 1.8 hrs drive B/L
We start trekking early in the morning after having breakfast. The trail goes all the way downhill to Tikhedhunga passing through lush green forest and some beautiful villages. After Tikhedhunga we follow the river Burungdi all the way to Birethanti. We walk 7 hours in total and overnight stay at Pokhara.
