Usually, the journey starts from Beshisahar(760 m), about 7 hour road distance from Kathmandu. For shortening the trip, we start the journey a few kilometers further where you can feel like you are in paradise. We drive to Dharapani from Kathmandu on the first day of the journey. The next day we trek to Chame which is the district headquarter of Manang district. Manang is the least populated district in Nepal. We stop at Manang for 2 nights for acclimatization where we do some side trips. We carry on trekking onward the journey gets more exciting and adventurous. We cross through the world's largest mountain pass i.e Thoroung-La pass 5416m and reach Muktinath one of the holiest pilgrimages sites of both Hindus and Buddhists where every Hindu is expected to visit this site in order to cleanse all the sins and bad deeds and obtain salvation. The Journey goes to Jomsom the windy town passing through the medieval settlement of Kagbeni. The stunning view of Mt Nilgiri north and Mt Dhaulagiri 8171m pulls your attention again and again. Experiencing the hospitality of the Thakali tribe is another highlight of the trip. The next day we fly to Pokhara from the tiny airfield of Jomsom which offers an incredible view of the Himalayas.

Itinerary
Day 01 Kathmandu to Dharapani (1860 m)

Embarking on our journey from Kathmandu, we travel by road to Besisahar. After a quick meal, we continue our drive to Dharapani, where we settle in at a mountain lodge for the night. Throughout the day, we are treated to breathtaking natural scenery and encounter diverse communities, providing a glimpse into the rich anthropological tapestry of the region.
Day 02 Trek to Chame (2650 m)

Following a hearty breakfast, our journey continues towards Chame. Along the way, we pause for a delicious lunch at a quaint roadside tea house, and by day's end, we reach a welcoming mountain lodge for our overnight stay. This leg of the trek exposes us to diverse landscapes, including lush forests, imposing mountains, and rugged rock formations.
Day 03 Trek to Upper Pisang (3300 m)

As the day's trek concludes, we continue to marvel at the wonders of nature, including rivers, dense forests, and the majestic Annapurna II and Pisang Peak. Day 04 Trek to Ngawal (3660 m)

As you approach the village of Khangshar, the trail ascends towards Shreekhark, traversing through expansive pasturelands. Navigating rocky fields, you'll ultimately reach Tilicho Base Camp, a pivotal point on your journey.
Day 07 Trek to Yak Kharka (4018 m)

Commencing early in the morning, we embark on an uphill hike to discover the world's highest lake, Tilicho, nestled at an elevation of 4900m. The journey from the base camp to Lake Tilicho takes approximately 2.5 hours, allowing you to immerse yourself in the pristine beauty of this high-altitude gem. After exploring the lake, we descend back to the base camp, indulge in a hearty breakfast, and set forth on our trek towards Yak Kharka, the subsequent destination marking the completion of the Annapurna Circuit trek. The trek from the base camp to Yak Kharka spans approximately 4 hours, offering a scenic and fulfilling experience.
Day 08 Trek to Thorong La Pass (5416 m)

This place is the highest point in the Annapurna circuit. In addition to trekkers, this pass is regularly used by local trekkers. Khatung Kang and Yakawa Kang are the mountains forming the pass. Trekkers usually depart some hours before sunrise as strong winds typically begins some hours after sunrise.
Day 09 Trek to Muktinath (3850 m)

This place has religious significances to the Hindus and The Buddhists. A large crowd visit this shrine every year. Co-located water source and burning gas is known to exist here only.
Day 10 Trek to Jomsom (2743 m)

The soaring peaks of Dhaulagiri and Nilgiri form a backdrop to the town straddling the Kali Gandaki river which flows right through the centre of Jomsom. The river freezes in winter and flows with rainwater and melting snow in summer and monsoon. The natural beauty and cultural diversity best showcase the features of this area. This is the place where the trek ends.
Day 11 Fly to Pokhara (820 m)

Day 12 Drive to Kathmandu
