Trip Overview of Around Manaslu Trekking
Around Manaslu Trekking or simply Manaslu Trek involves teahouse trekking to circumnavigate Mountain Manaslu, recognized as the eighth highest peak worldwide with a height of 8156 meters. This trek contains each element, similar to any other mountain trek in Nepal, along with glimpses of Buddhist as well as Hindu culture, rhododendron forests, flora and fauna, wildflowers, protected wildlife, raging rivers, stunning sceneries of mountains and nearby valleys. Itinerary
Day 01: Arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu
30 Min. BB Hotel Kathamndu
Our team will receive tourists at the Tribhuvan International Airport of Kathmandu and drop them at the nearby hotel, as per their own choice. In the evening, we arrange for a welcome dinner and at the same time, discussed the entire itinerary in detail.
Day 02: Sightseeing in Kathmandu

Our tour will take tourists to large numbers of spiritual attractions and historical places in the capital city of Nepal i.e. Kathmandu. A few of the famous landmarks are the sacred Pashupatinath Temple of Hindus, the famous Swayambhunath or Monkey Temple, the historical place of Durbar Square, and the shrine of Buddhists (the biggest stupa of the region), and many more listed in the World Heritage Site of UNESCO.
Day 03: Drive to Arughat (600m)

On this day, our tourists will experience driving on a paved road from Kathmandu up to Dhading Bensi and later on, driving on a rough road to reach Arughat. The entire journey will be of 7 to 8 hours.
Day 04: Trek to Soti Khola (710m)
5-6 hrs B/L/D Mountain Lodge
Today, we will check out early in the morning to cover a distance of about 710 meters to experience our trek to Soti Khola. During the entire journey, we will get an opportunity to find mountain scenery.
Day 05: Trek to Maccha Khola (900m)
6-7 hrs B/L/D Mountain Lodge
While crossing the bridge, we will experience a trek from the beautiful Sal forest region and later on, climb over a ridge above rapids present on Budhi Gandaki. Later on, we will move ahead towards Khursane to observe various rocky trails, as weaving the way down and up, past two different waterfalls on a rocky and steep trail clinging towards sideways of the mountain cliff followed by Gurung village belonging to Labubesi. Later on, we climb beside outcrops of mountain rocks, where we will find the opening of the valley and meandering of Budhi Gandaki across various wide gravel bars. Further, we will choose to drop towards the sandy riverbed and walk across round-shaped stones and move again towards the river for crossing one more suspension bridge to reach the village of Maccha Khola.
Day 06: Trek to Jagat (1410m)
7-8 hrs B/L/D Mountain Lodge
We will experience a narrow trail consisting of a few minor challenges to cross Tharo Khola and cross a suspension type of bridge on Yaru Khola, while finally climbing stone stairs to reach Tharo Bharyang. Now, by crossing the western river bank of Budi Gandaki, we will move ahead to experience our mountain trek across the river and move towards the famous Jagat village.
Day 07: Trek to Deng (1,804m)
7-8 hrs B/L/D Mountain Lodge
During this trek, we will continue with our walk across the valley to pass bamboo forests and thereby, reach Deng Khola. Once you succeed to cross the Khola, you will find a small village named Deng, where you will have the stay overnight.
Day 08: Trek to Namrung (2630m)
6-7 hrs B/L/D Mountain Lodge
On this day of our trek, we will cross the famous Budi Gandaki River many times to come across large numbers of Gompas on our route. Our trail will move ahead of the river upstream by passing from a dense forest. Once we get success in the crossing of the river at the place, where it thunders in a downward direction to reach a narrow gorge, forests become relatively less dense, while the trail becomes easy again. In this way, we will continue with our pleasant walk and experience a steep climb to reach Namrung.
Day 09: Trek to Lho (3,180m)
4-5 hrs B/L/D Mountain Lodge
Here, our tourists will get the opportunity to pass from a small but famous Lho village to get extraordinary views of the famous mount Manaslu and simultaneously, explore the worldwide renowned Ribung Gompa.
Day 10: Trek to Samagaon (3,530m)
4-5 hrs B/L/D Mountain Lodge
Once you check out from Lho village, you will be able to cross Himal Chuli and Peak 29, along with many other high mountains at the left of Shyala village and large mountain glaciers at the straight as well as snow summits towards the right. In addition, today, our trekking journey stands far end of Ganesh Himal and will end at Samagaon.
Day 11: Trek to Pungyen Gompa and back to Samagaon
6-7 hrs B/L/D Mountain Lodge
We will spend our day at Samagaon to have both rest and acclimatization. After this, we will view large numbers of famous sights comprised of mani stones, along with pictures and texts belonging to Buddhist culture and Sherpa women, as cladding in traditional attires and ornaments. On a nearby small hill across Sama village, we will find an old Gompa named Pungyen Gompa, which is a monastery highlighting many excellent views of the mountain glacier. Pungyen indicates bracelet, because of which it constitutes the best possible description of two different mountain peaks. Finally, we will return to Samagaon and have our overnight stay there.
Day 12: Trek to Samdo (3,860m)
4-5 hrs B/L/D Mountain Lodge
Today, our team will descend towards Budi Gandaki River, which has now turned north and follow it towards a bridge over a stream sideways. The trail in the leftward direction leads individuals towards the Manaslu base camp. Larkya la trail passes large numbers of mani walls with the widening of the valley. Later on, we will drop across the shelf for crossing Budhi Gandaki over a wooden bridge and climb in a steep way between two different forks present in the river. Lastly, our trekkers will let you to pass from Kani to reach Samdo.
Day 13: Trek to Dharamsala / Larkya B.C (4,460m)
5-6 hrs B/L/D Mountain Lodge
Here, you will have a relatively short climb to reach the Larkya or Dharamsala glacier valley in the northward direction. Here, you will be enjoying stunning views of Larkya Peak and Cho Danda.
Day 14: Trek to Bimthang (3,720m)
8-9 hrs B/L/D Mountain Lodge
We will walk across various moraines of the mountain glacier to create a gradual ascent to become steeper at the end of the mountain pass. Here, you will find outstanding views of Cheo Himal, Himlung Himal, Kangguru, and the famous Annapurna Mountain II. Finally, on this day, we will reach Bimtang.
Day 15: Trek to Tilije (2,300m)
4-5 hrs B/L/D Mountain Lodge
We will continue with our trail of about 4 to 5 hours to reach Tilije. During the journey, we will get the scenic beauties of rhododendron forests and green fields prior to experiencing a steep climb.
Day 16: Trek to Tal (1,700m)
5-6 hrs B/L/D Mountain Lodge
We will allow our tourists to come across a few of the mani walls while moving ahead with our trail from Tilije to reach the famous Tal village located at the lower portion of a big waterfall.
Day 17: Trek to Syange (1,080m)
6-7 hrs B/L/D Mountain Lodge
Our trail will follow towards Chyamje village by crossing the Marshyangdi Khola, while it will descend from rhododendron as well as pine forests to reach Syange.
Day 18: Trek to Besi Sahar (8,00m), back to Kathmandu
5-6 hrs Breakfast and Lunch Hotel Kathamndu
On the last day of your trek, you will cover only 800 meters to go to Besi Sahar and later on, return to the capital city Kathmandu.
