Trip Overview of Rolwaling Trek

Rolwaling refers to the name – valley carved by a plough.  The first preliminary surveying or research about the area from the westerners was done by Eric Shipton et.al in 1951. The valley (3690 m) is a renowned trekking zone under the Himalayan Mountain range and lies in east-central Nepal near Tibet. The range includes the highest peak on the planet in elevation i.e. Mount Everest (8849 m) and all other 14 peaks over 8000 m. Early in the morning you will have breakfast and resume your trek from Dolakha and head towards Shigati through Piguti (920m).
