Good preparation is a crucial factor for smooth and successful trekking in Nepal. One must prepare all the necessary equipment and gears, which is an absolute must and also consider some other tools that might come handy for trekking in the Himalayas. Here is a list of equipment that every traveler must pack before any trekking program here.

Clothing

  • Jacket (outer layer) – waterproof and windproof
  • Warm Jacket (inner) -Down jacket is highly advised for its warming and comfort factors
  • Long sleeved synthetic Fleece (better if windproof)
  • Thermal underwear
  • Hat, Gloves and scarf
