Itinerary

Upon arrival in Kathmandu, a warm welcome awaits from Tourist Link Treks and Expedition. Our representative will meet you at the airport and provide a 20-minute transfer to your hotel. During the drive, you'll receive an overview of your upcoming journey, setting the stage for an exciting adventure in the beautiful Himalayan region.

In the early morning, a scenic flight from Kathmandu to Lukla is guided by your trek leader, offering breathtaking mountain views during the 30-minute journey. Upon arrival in Lukla, you'll pause for refreshments, meet your porter, and receive a trek briefing. The day's trek to Phakding, lasting about 3 hours, concludes with an overnight stay at a luxurious mountain lodge.

After breakfast, the trek commences, tracing the Dudhkoshi River's banks and crossing suspension bridges. A lunch break in Monjo is followed by an ascent through dense pine and fir forests, offering breathtaking mountain vistas, insights into Sherpa culture, and encounters with locals. The day ends in Namche Bazaar (3,440m) for an overnight stay.

Following breakfast and a picturesque sunrise, the trek ascends uphill. After 1.5 hours, we reach the renowned Hotel Everest View, a Guinness World Record holder for its breathtaking Mount Everest vistas. Lunch is enjoyed here before embarking on a village walk and a visit to a local monastery, home to the legendary Yeti's skull, offering a fascinating cultural experience.

Starting after breakfast, the trail pass high above the Dudh Koshi River and later crosses it at Phunkithanka, leading to an uphill climb to Tengboche at 3860m. Tengboche is renowned for its sacred monastery, housing numerous revered monks. The location provides breathtaking views of Mt. Everest and Amadablam (6856m), often depicted in Kathmandu's iconic paintings. After Tengboche, a 20-minute descent takes us to our overnight stop.

Following breakfast, our trek commences along the meandering Dudh Koshi River, crossing a suspension bridge. We pass through Pangboche at 4000m, home to a sacred monastery and a rumored Yeti scalp. As we ascend above 4000m, the landscape transforms into sparse bushes and pastureland. After crossing the Dudh Koshi again, we follow the Tshukung River valley to reach Dingboche at 4400m. A brief climb for better acclimatization concludes our day.

Today is dedicated to acclimatization in Dingboche. After breakfast, we embark on a hike to the renowned Nangakartshang at 5100m, where we are rewarded with a breathtaking Himalayan panorama, featuring peaks like Mt. Lhotse, Amadablam, Khongde, and Island Peak. Upon returning, we explore the village and uncover a unique secret: during the rainy season, residents are not permitted to make fires, leading them to stay in the neighboring village of Phorche for a month.

Embark on a mesmerizing journey to Lobuche (4900m) from Thokla (4600m) after a satisfying breakfast. Traverse hills and idyllic pasturelands, reaching Thokla (4830m) before ascending to the poignant Thokla pass, adorned with monuments honoring fallen climbers. Commemorative plaques pay tribute to legendary mountaineers, a testament to their bravery. The trail winds through moraine-formed gullies, offering breathtaking vistas of Khumbutse (6665m), Lingtren (6749m), Chumbu (6859m), and Lobuche Peak (6119m). Conclude this 5-hour trek at Lobuche, where a welcoming mountain lodge awaits, providing a perfect haven for weary trekkers.

Embark on a trek after a hearty breakfast, traversing the glacier's edge along the moraine route. Within 45 minutes, reach the majestic Lobuche pass at 5000m, offering a stunning 360-degree panorama of Khumbutse (6655m), Lingtren (6749m), Chumbu (6859m), Lobuche Peak (6119m), and Nuptse (7861m). Continuing for 3 hours leads to Gorakshep at 5155m, where a cozy mountain lodge awaits for an overnight stay. After a nourishing lunch and brief rest, embark on a 2.5-hour hike to explore Everest Base Camp, returning to Gorakshep for an overnight stay. This unforgettable journey combines breathtaking scenery with the thrill of reaching Everest's iconic base camp.

Embark on an early morning hike to the scenic hillock, Kalapathar (5550m), a 3-hour ascent offering a breathtaking 360-degree view of the Khumbu Everest range. Kalapathar serves as a vantage point, revealing Everest's west shoulder, Khumbutse, Lingtren, Lobuche Peak, Pumo-Ri, Nuptse (7861m), Lhotse (8516m), Mt Everest (8849m), Chotatse, Arakatmse, and Amadablam. After absorbing the panoramic scenery, descend to Gorakshep for a delicious breakfast. Prepare for departure and, after a brief 2-minute walk, board a helicopter for a 1.5-hour flight back to Kathmandu. Upon return, rest at the hotel, concluding the day with a dinner program hosted by Tourist Link Treks and Expedition, featuring Nepali cultural shows and the hospitality of Hom Mangaging director.

On your final day in Nepal, relish the opportunity to explore the town and indulge in shopping. The company, offering a thoughtful touch, provides airport drop service.
