Trip Overview of Langtang Valley Trek
Existing in the Himalayan region that lies at the nearest distance from the capital city of Kathmandu, Langtang Valley Trek also known as ‘Valley of Glaciers Trek’ is the pleasant experience of walking through the glaciers and enjoying some of the spectacular sights of snow-capped mountains as well as Langtang Valley Trek is one of the most popular destinations, it takes 11days from Ktm. Located 90km north of Kathmandu, Langtang Valley lies near to the Tibetan border. Langtang Valley Trekking has so much to offer to you. The journey will make progress through rhododendron and spruce woods which will endow us with an opportunity to have an amazing spectacle of the colorful local birds. It will take us through several multiethnic highland villages so that we would have plenty of time to admire the ancient traditions, culture, and way of living that are still being adopted in their original form. Moreover, the trekking trail will pass through several natural vantage points at different locations enabling us to have beautiful views of Mountains like Langtang Lirung, Kimshung, and Langshisha Ri Mountains.
The pleasant Langtang Valley Trek itinerary at ‘Tourist Link Treks and Expedition’ is an 11-days engaging activity that begins with 6 hours of thrilling drive through the meandering road of Nuwakot and Dhunche Bazaar to Syabrubesi from where we will take a walk through the Lama Hotel to the culturally rich Langtang Village. Later, we will make progress through the monastery at Kyanjin Gompa to Syabrubesi, a drive whence will eventually lead us back to the hotel at Kathmandu. Langtang Valley Trek is a mildly strenuous trek that does not need prior trekking experience. October to December and February to April are the best seasons to engage in ‘Langtang Valley Trek.’

Day 02: Kathmandu valley sightseeing.

Taking light breakfast early in the morning, our guide will then take you for a pleasant day tour inside Kathmandu which encompasses the UNESCO enlisted holiest shrine of Shiva at Pashupatinath Temple Complex, the Bouddhanath Stupa which is the largest Stupa existing inside Kathmandu, Swayambhunath Temple aka Monkey Temple which is the oldest Stupa inside Kathmandu which dates almost 2oooyrs back and the Kathmandu Durbar Square which is yet another UNESCO enlisted historical site where you will get chance to view the abode of Living Goddess- Kumari, Kasthamandap Temple, Kal Bhairab and many more.
