Trip Overview of Badimalika Trek
Badimalika Trek is one of the newly launched trekking destinations in the far western hilly region of Nepal. It is located in the Bazura district. Badimalika came from the name of the temple located on the top of the hillock where the temple of Badimalika is located. The goddess temple is believed to be very powerful, generous, and blessing. Every year during august full moon time the festival is held on the premises of the temple where thousands of devotees go there for pilgrims. The landscape of this region is so mesmerizing so you feel very overwhelming after reaching the top.
Badimalika Trek's journey starts from Kathmandu with a scenic flight to Dhangadi. After landing at Dhangadi we take a jeep to Mauriya 1008m which is a very scenic drive. We spend overnight there and the next day early morning after having breakfast we start our trekking. The journey goes through the village and settlement where we can see Khas people of western Nepal very rich in culture, custom, tradition, and language. We can see their way of life and daily chores patterns during the trek. As we move forward the elevation keeps rising and we get a more beautiful and rugged landscape. We pass through the places like Malakot, Lamagada, Dhalpuri Pokhari, Dharmaghar, Badimalika Bhagwati, Tribeni, and, finally Martadi district headquarter.
This journey is a combination of nature, culture, and adventure where you can experience every color of the rainbow. We drive back to Dhangadi from Martadi and fly back to Kathmandu. This journey takes one and a half weeks in total. This place can be very interesting for pilgrims seeking adventure.
Itinerary
Day 1 Arrive Kathmandu / Transfer to Hotel

Airport representative from Tourist Link Trek & Expedition will pick us up at Tribhuvan International Airport. He escorts you to a hotel, on the way he will explain to you about your journey, trekking route, and necessary gear. Company director Hom will meet you there and the remaining payment can be done there.
Day 2 Kathmandu valley sightseeing
6 hour Breakfast only Hotel in Kathmandu
Your guide will meet you at your hotel after breakfast and escort you to for a heritage tour and day sightseeing. He will guide to the major sight seeing place like Kathmandu daurbar square, Bhaktapur daurbar square, Pashupatinath temple, Bouddhanath stupa etc.
Day 3 Fly Kathmandu to Dhangadi and drive Mauriya 1006m
8 hrs B/L/D Hotel in Mauriya
Early morning drive to the airport to fly Dhangadi. It nearly an hour flight. After landing at Dhangadi airport we take jeep and drive to Mauriya which takes around seven hour. After reaching Mauriya we stay at the nearby guest house there where we prepare for the trekking to be started the next day.
Day 4 Trek Mauriya to Dhalpuri Pokhari 2556m

We start early in the morning after having breakfast. The trail goes uphill all the way to Dhal Pokhari 2556m. We pass through the trail nearby village and settlement so we always have things to see. Culture, custom, tradition and unique way of living can be seen during the trek. We stop for launch in the village, at the same time interaction with local can be done which takes us close to the life of people.
Day 5 Trek Dhalpuri Pokhari to Tribeni 3870m
6 hour B/L/D Mountain Lodge
We commence our journey after having breakfast. The trail goes uphill through the lush green forest. The mesmerizing view during the trek amazes you. We stop for launch on the way and move forward to our destination. We pass through Badimalika Bhagwati temple the main highlight of the journey. This temple is famous for the fulfillment and generosity of the goddess Badimalika. The breathtaking landscape amazes you during the walk.
Day 6 Trek Tribeni to Sotapatan 3403m
6 hour B/L/D Mountain lodge
We start after breakfast. The trail goes gradually downhill all the way to Sotapatan. The landscape gradually gets lush green the more we descend down. We stop for launch on the way and we go to Sotapatan for overnight stay.
Day 07 Trek Sota Patan to Martadi

We start our journey early in the morning after breakfast. The trail goes gradually downhill all the way to Martadi. Martadi is a small town where we can find more facilities and amenities. We spend good time after getting there.
Day 08 Drive Martadi to Dhangadi and fly Kathmandu
8 hour B/L/D Hotel in Kathmandu
Next day early morning after having breakfast we commence our journey. We take the jeep to Dhangadi which approximately takes 7 hours. After reaching Dhangadi we catch a flight back to Kathmandu.
Day 09 Rest day in Kathmandu

After the long and adventurous trek today in Kathmandu you can spend your time exploring things. You can try some of the Nepali cuisine and experience trekker massage.
Day 10 Shopping day in Kathmandu

Today you can do shopping and explore around Kathmandu. If you have missed something in Kathmandu today is the day to explore and experience.
Day 11 Transfer to Airport for International flight
